These Terms & Conditions govern the booking and participation in lessons offered by English Explorers, operated by Daniel Meza, based in Lausanne, Switzerland.

By booking a lesson or purchasing a package, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services

English Explorers provides private and small-group English language instruction in Lausanne and online worldwide.

Services may include:

• Individual lessons

• Group lessons

• Trial lessons

• Prepaid lesson packages

3. Booking & Scheduling

Lessons may be booked:

• Online via the website

• By email

• By phone

A booking is confirmed once agreed upon by both parties.

4. Trial Lessons

Trial lessons may be offered at full price, discounted, or free, at the sole discretion of English Explorers.

Offering a discounted or complimentary trial does not create any obligation for future discounts or promotional pricing.

5. Lesson Packages

Prepaid lesson packages:

• Must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed

• Are valid for a specified period (to be communicated at time of purchase)

• Are non-transferable unless agreed otherwise

• Are non-refundable once lessons have begun

Unused lessons may expire after the agreed validity period.

6. Pricing & Accessibility

Lesson fees are determined based on lesson format, duration, package structure, and market conditions.

Pricing may vary depending on location, individual circumstances, and program structure.

English Explorers reserves the right to adjust pricing periodically. Any changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect prepaid lesson packages.

In limited cases, adjusted pricing or sponsored lesson placements may be offered at the discretion of English Explorers. Such arrangements are voluntary and subject to availability.

Discounts and promotional offers may be modified or withdrawn at any time.

7. Payments

Accepted payment methods may include:

• Cash

• Bank transfer

• TWINT

• Stripe

• PayPal

• Wise

Payment terms will be agreed in advance.

All prices are listed in CHF unless otherwise stated.

8. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Late cancellations or missed lessons may be charged in full.

If English Explorers must cancel a session, it will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

9. Late Arrivals

If a student arrives late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time.

Full lesson fees remain applicable.

10. Professional Standards & Commitment

Effective learning requires mutual respect, preparation, and consistent engagement.

English Explorers reserves the right to discontinue lessons or refuse future bookings in cases of:

• Repeated cancellations or missed sessions

• Non-payment

• Disrespectful or inappropriate behavior

• Ongoing lack of participation that prevents meaningful progress

Decisions will be made reasonably and professionally.

11. Educational Responsibility

English Explorers provides professional instruction; however, specific learning outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Progress depends on individual effort, attendance, and engagement.

12. Intellectual Property

All teaching materials, lesson content, and resources remain the intellectual property of English Explorers.

Materials may not be copied, distributed, recorded, or shared without prior written permission.

13. Students Under 18

For students under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms.

The parent or guardian is responsible for payment and scheduling.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, English Explorers shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from lesson participation.

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant service.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland.
