No generic path. No wasted time. Just progress that feels personal.

Private English lessons built around you.

Most learners don’t need more rules. They need clarity, confidence, and real practice.

Private lessons focus on what matters for you or your child: work, school, daily life, or a personal goal.

We keep it practical. We build step by step. And we adjust as progress happens.

This isn't school English.

If you’re looking for worksheets and quiet stud, I’m not the right teacher.

My lessons are interactive. We talk, we question, and we build language through real situations. You will make mistakes, and that’s good. That’s where learning happens.

I correct you, but I don’t interrupt every 10 seconds. There’s a time to speak freely and a time to refine.

Because in real life, conversations don’t pause for grammar exercises.

Where Lessons Happen

Private lessons are right for you if…

1-on-1 lessons aren't for everyone, and that's a good thing. They're for learners who want focused attention and faster progress.

You might be a good fit if you:

Private lessons work well if you:

If you want real progress, not just practice, private lessons make sense.

What a private lesson with me feels like

It's a conversation, not a lecture.

We talk about real topics. Your work, your life, your opinions. That’s where language lives. I listen carefully, correct what matters, and explain things simply.

I won’t interrupt every sentence. I won’t let mistakes slide forever either.

There’s a balance between comfort and challenge. That’s where real progress happens.

A typical lesson might include:

Certifications

I take deep pride in continually developing my skills to serve my students better. To date, I hold TEFL, CELTA, and TYL certifications. No, this isn't my WiFi password. Click on one of the boxes below to learn more.

CELTA

CELTA is the international gold standard for teaching English to adults. It’s intense, practical, and demanding. Cambridge doesn’t hand these out lightly. The training focuses on real classroom skills: lesson planning, student engagement, live teaching practice, and feedback from experienced trainers. This isn’t theory you read in a textbook. It’s applied teaching methodology that I use in every lesson.

TEFL

TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) is a 120-hour certification that trains teachers to work with non-native speakers. It covers grammar instruction, pronunciation techniques, classroom management, and cultural awareness. This certification gave me the foundation to understand how people learn a second language and the common challenges they face. It’s where I learned to teach with empathy, not just expertise.

TYL

TYL (Teaching Young Learners) is specialized training for working with children and teens up to age 16. Young learners need creativity, exploration, and repetition to make language stick. This certification taught me how to design lessons that spark curiosity and make learning feel like discovery. Through games, storytelling, hands-on activities, and structured practice, students build real skills while staying motivated and excited to learn.

100% Personalized

In a private lesson, nothing is generic.

We focus on your habits, your blind spots, and your strengths. Progress tends to be faster because the lesson revolves around you, not a group.

Some learners use private lessons for a few months to break a plateau. Others stay longer because they enjoy the structure and accountability.

There’s no pressure. Just direction.

My role as your teacher

My job isn’t to impress you with big words or complex explanations. It’s to make English clearer and more usable for you.

I guide, correct, and support.
I also listen. If something isn’t working, we adjust. If something helps, we build on it.

Kids, teens, and adults learn differently.
That’s why lessons adapt to the person, not a fixed method.

You won't be treated like a student in school. You'll be treated like a person improving a skill.

Start with a trial lesson. See how it feels. No pressure, just a real session.

If it fits, we continue. If not, you still practiced your English.
