1. Overview<\/h2>

These Terms & Conditions govern the booking and participation in lessons offered by English Explorers, operated by Daniel Meza, based in Lausanne, Switzerland.<\/p>

By booking a lesson or purchasing a package, you agree to these Terms.<\/p>

2. Services<\/h2>

English Explorers provides private and small-group English language instruction in Lausanne and online worldwide.<\/p>

Services may include:<\/p>

  • Individual lessons<\/p><\/li>

  • Group lessons<\/p><\/li>

  • Trial lessons<\/p><\/li>

  • Prepaid lesson packages<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    3. Booking & Scheduling<\/h2>

    Lessons may be booked:<\/p>

    • Online via the website<\/p><\/li>

    • By email<\/p><\/li>

    • By phone<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      A booking is confirmed once agreed upon by both parties.<\/p>

      4. Trial Lessons<\/h2>

      Trial lessons may be offered at full price, discounted, or free, at the sole discretion of English Explorers.<\/p>

      Offering a discounted or complimentary trial does not create any obligation for future discounts or promotional pricing.<\/p>

      5. Lesson Packages<\/h2>

      Prepaid lesson packages:<\/p>

      • Must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed<\/p><\/li>

      • Are valid for a specified period (to be communicated at time of purchase)<\/p><\/li>

      • Are non-transferable unless agreed otherwise<\/p><\/li>

      • Are non-refundable once lessons have begun<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

        Unused lessons may expire after the agreed validity period.<\/p>

        6. Pricing & Accessibility<\/h2>

        Lesson fees are determined based on lesson format, duration, package structure, and market conditions.<\/p>

        Pricing may vary depending on location, individual circumstances, and program structure.<\/p>

        English Explorers reserves the right to adjust pricing periodically. Any changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect prepaid lesson packages.<\/p>

        In limited cases, adjusted pricing or sponsored lesson placements may be offered at the discretion of English Explorers. Such arrangements are voluntary and subject to availability.<\/p>

        Discounts and promotional offers may be modified or withdrawn at any time.<\/p>

        7. Payments<\/h2>

        Accepted payment methods may include:<\/p>

        • Cash<\/p><\/li>

        • Bank transfer<\/p><\/li>

        • TWINT<\/p><\/li>

        • Stripe<\/p><\/li>

        • PayPal<\/p><\/li>

        • Wise<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

          Payment terms will be agreed in advance.<\/p>

          All prices are listed in CHF unless otherwise stated.<\/p>

          8. Cancellations & Rescheduling<\/h2>

          Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.<\/p>

          Late cancellations or missed lessons may be charged in full.<\/p>

          If English Explorers must cancel a session, it will be rescheduled at no additional cost.<\/p>

          9. Late Arrivals<\/h2>

          If a student arrives late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time.<\/p>

          Full lesson fees remain applicable.<\/p>

          10. Professional Standards & Commitment<\/h2>

          Effective learning requires mutual respect, preparation, and consistent engagement.<\/p>

          English Explorers reserves the right to discontinue lessons or refuse future bookings in cases of:<\/p>

          • Repeated cancellations or missed sessions<\/p><\/li>

          • Non-payment<\/p><\/li>

          • Disrespectful or inappropriate behavior<\/p><\/li>

          • Ongoing lack of participation that prevents meaningful progress<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

            Decisions will be made reasonably and professionally.<\/p>

            11. Educational Responsibility<\/h2>

            English Explorers provides professional instruction; however, specific learning outcomes cannot be guaranteed.<\/p>

            Progress depends on individual effort, attendance, and engagement.<\/p>

            12. Intellectual Property<\/h2>

            All teaching materials, lesson content, and resources remain the intellectual property of English Explorers.<\/p>

            Materials may not be copied, distributed, recorded, or shared without prior written permission.<\/p>

            13. Students Under 18<\/h2>

            For students under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms.<\/p>

            The parent or guardian is responsible for payment and scheduling.<\/p>

            14. Limitation of Liability<\/h2>

            To the extent permitted by law, English Explorers shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from lesson participation.<\/p>

            Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant service.<\/p>

            15. Governing Law<\/h2>

            These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland.<\/p>

            Jurisdiction is Lausanne, Switzerland.<\/p>

            16. Changes to These Terms<\/h2>

            These Terms may be updated periodically.<\/p>
