Clear Answers Before You Begin
Is English Explorers right for me?
English Explorers is for people who want to speak with more ease, more confidence, and more personality.
We focus on the things that genuinely change how you show up in conversation: comfort, flow, natural vocabulary, and the courage to speak even when it isn’t perfect.
Lessons are practical and focused, built around using English in real situations so you can express yourself more easily — without freezing, translating in your head, or second-guessing every sentence.
What happens in the first lesson?
The first lesson is about understanding where you truly are — not just on paper, but in conversation.
We talk. I listen closely.
I observe how you build ideas, where you hesitate, and where you feel comfortable.
By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of your strengths, your blocks, and how we can move forward together.
It’s focused — but relaxed. You don’t need to prepare anything.
How long are lessons?
Standard sessions are 60 minutes or 90 minutes.
For highly motivated and disciplined students, 30-minute sessions are available upon request — though I generally recommend longer sessions to allow enough time for depth and real progress.
What levels do you teach?
I work with learners from A1 (beginner) to C2 (advanced). Lessons are tailored to your level, pace, and goals — whether you’re improving everyday conversation, preparing for exams, or refining professional communication.
Where are lessons held?
Lessons are available online worldwide.
In-person sessions take place in Lausanne. I can host at my apartment or travel locally when arranged in advance.
How often should I take lessons?
Once a week is a strong and steady rhythm.
Twice a week can accelerate progress significantly.
Ultimately, it depends on your goals — and your ability to commit not only to the lesson, but to the language itself.
Consistency matters more than intensity.
Can companies book you?
Yes.
With the appropriate information about your company and communication needs, I tailor sessions to align with your business environment for practical and immediate application.
For corporate inquiries, please contact me directly by email to discuss your objectives.
Do I need to sign a contract?
Yes. When you book a lesson, you are reserving a time that could be offered to another student.
The contract helps clarify your goals and protects the time and preparation that goes into each session. I am naturally flexible, but structure ensures fairness and professionalism for both of us.
I understand English, but I freeze when I speak. Can you help?
Yes. This is very common.
Freezing often isn’t about vocabulary — it’s about pressure, overthinking, and fear of mistakes.
We work on building fluency step by step so speaking feels more automatic and less stressful.
Over time, the hesitation softens because your responses become more natural.
Can we just focus on speaking?
Yes — if your level allows it.
I offer a structured conversation program designed to improve fluidity, expand expression, and push you beyond everyday “table talk.”
Even in speaking-focused sessions, we work intentionally so your fluency grows — not just your comfort.
Do you correct every mistake?
No.
Constant interruption destroys rhythm and confidence.
I correct strategically.
Some mistakes need immediate adjustment.
Others are noted and addressed after you finish speaking.
The goal is progress — not perfection during performance.
What if I’m afraid of making mistakes?
Mistakes show us exactly what needs attention.
They reveal patterns — where your grammar slips, where vocabulary feels uncertain, where hesitation appears.
That information helps us adjust and improve.
As your fluency grows, the mistakes naturally decrease. That’s part of the process.
No one is keeping score.
How do you build confidence?
Confidence doesn’t appear overnight.
It grows when you feel safe enough to speak freely, when mistakes are accepted, when guidance is consistent, and when you start to feel control over what you’re saying.
Little by little, hesitation becomes shorter.
Sentences become smoother.
You stop holding your breath before speaking.
Confidence is built through repetition, patience, and trust — both in the process and in yourself.
How long does it take to see progress?
Progress does not follow a fixed timeline.
It depends on consistency, effort, and engagement — both during lessons and outside them.
If you give your effort freely and show up with intention, the results will come.
Language responds to commitment.
What if I’ve tried before and didn’t improve?
If you’ve tried before and felt stuck, that doesn’t mean you can’t improve.
Sometimes progress requires a different approach, more personal attention, or simply the right kind of guidance.
Language learning is not mechanical — it’s human.
And sometimes, what’s missing is that human element.
Do you teach teens and adults?
Yes. I work with motivated teenagers and adults. Lessons are adapted to age, learning style, and attention span while maintaining clear structure and measurable progress.

What makes your lessons different?
English Explorers is built around structured communication.
Not memorization.
Not textbook dependency.
Not generic “conversation practice.”
We work on how you think in English.
Clarity. Precision. Control.
The goal is not to sound like a native speaker.
The goal is to speak clearly enough that your ideas carry weight.
Do you use textbooks?
Sometimes — but they are tools, not the structure.
Textbooks can support grammar and vocabulary, but they cannot build confidence on their own.
Real progress comes from applied speaking and guided correction.
Why don’t you teach like traditional schools?
Traditional classrooms often prioritize completing material.
I prioritize how well you can actually use the language.
Knowing rules is important — but applying them in real conversations is what creates confidence.
We still work on structure and accuracy.
But the goal is communication, not just completion.
How much do lessons cost?
I teach students online all over the world, so pricing varies depending on location.
Rates are adjusted to reflect regional differences and exchange rates while maintaining the same quality of teaching and preparation.
For current pricing and availability, please contact me directly.
Do you give discounts?
I don’t offer general discounts.
However, students who commit to lesson packages receive reduced pricing. This helps create a steady rhythm and supports long-term progress.
What does “find your voice” actually mean?
It means finding — and becoming — who you are in English.
A journey where eventually:
You’re not translating every thought.
You’re not rehearsing before you speak.
You’re not staying quiet in conversations about something you’re passionate about.
Your jokes are laughed at because they’re funny — not because of how you said them.
Where your personality, your humor, your opinions come through naturally.
Not perfect. Not identical to a native speaker.
Just steady. Comfortable. Yours.
Language begins with being understood — even at the smallest level.
Over time, your ability to speak English becomes like singing along to your favorite song.
You know the emotion it gives you.
The rhythm carries your words naturally.
The chorus feels familiar — you repeat phrases without forcing them.
Eventually, it’s something you know from beginning to end.
And no — I can’t fix your singing voice.
But I know exactly how to fix your pronunciation.
